Fun with cheap cameras
I found this little camera called “Mini Digital Camera” online and bought a couple for my kids - twelve bucks each!
It is only 1 1/2 in. by 2 in., on a keychain. Perfect for goofy unplanned snaps, quality is suprisingly good. The plastic lens gives it that “nothing quite in focus” look like an old Holga.
It does have one problem, the memory is dynamic - it needs power to retain the bits. So after you take a snap, you have to remember to get it uploaded to your computer before the battery dies, which is soon. When they start making these little cameras with static memory like in memory cards this will be a required keychain accessory.
